Es ist wieder mal soweit!! Medicom bringt ein neues, drittes, 12″ Daft Punk Real Action Heros Pack raus. Diesmal ist es quasi ein TRON Special das auf der Comic-Con präsentiert wurde. Keine Ahnung wann, wie oder wo aber ich werde alles tun um meine Sammlung komplett zu machen. Außerdem wird es auch 400% Daft Punk Bearbricks und 100% Daft Punk Kubricks geben. Das Jahr 2010 bringt einige gute Acts nach Wien. Am 27.7. gibt Cocorosie samt Anhang ein Konzert in der Arena (Pflichttermin), am 8.12. sollte man MGMT im Gasometer auf keinen Fall verpassen und jetzt kommts: am 18.8. ist DIE fucking ANTWOORD in der Pratersauna zu sehen…. Jeder der mich kennt, weiß das dieser Song unter den Top 10 meiner liebsten Songs aller Zeiten verweilt. Ich bin sogar soweit das ich dieses Theme als Hochzeitsong wählen würde. Ich habe nun schon hunderte Arten von Don’t Stop Believin gehört und er gefällt mir jedes mal aufs neue. Hier mit Lady Gaga, Elton John, Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Blondie und Shirley Bassey… Qualität lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig, aber es verschafft mir trotzdem Gänsehaut.
Ich kann nicht beschreiben um was für eine Musikrichtung es sich hierbei handelt, aber ich bin ein Fan! Die Antwoord besteht aus Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er und DJ Hi-Tek, ein Trio das nicht nur die Ohren beglückt sondern auch etwas für die Augen darstellt. Ich versteh auch keine Wort aus dem Afrikaans English Irgendwas Rap, aber ich bin ein Fan! Gebt euch das Video und sagt mir nicht das der Slogan “Taking Over The Interweb” nicht zu 100% zutrifft… Beat Boy, Beat Boy Hit That Perfect Beat Boy… Aai aai aai i’m your butterfly… Ohrwurm Deluxe!
Jedes Monat einmal habe ich die Eingebung nach Daft Punk Bildern auf flickr zu suchen. Diesmal bin ich auf den Daft Punk Wedding Cake gestoßen. Kein Joke, den gibt es wirklich!
It is unquestionable that the Electro genre has reached a broader American audience in the last two years. I am determined to document the scene and its participants, show the inner workings of the genre and what it will eventually evolve into. The notion to document this genre was conceived in 2008 after reading a blog post with the same title ‘Electro Wars’ featured on the Hipster Runoff. The post was a sarcastic outlook on electro/house artists in the United States and Europe, and their impact on mainstream music here in the United States. I found a substantial concept within the snarky commentary and decided to assemble these “electro soldiers”. It seems that every other day a new remix is popping up on the blogosphere, how does this affect marketing for other independent artists? Do they welcome the remixes or oppose them? Is music overload possible? What will eventually happen when all these budding producers grab a hold of a Pro Tools tutorial and develop their own remixes week in and week out? Will the remix itself become obsolete? Will original tracks have to step up to the forefront rather than recede into the background? Themes of this nature are explored in the film.

Warum ist für mich eigentlich jeder Track automatisch cool wenn ich höre das er von Daft Punk kommt? Ich kann nicht zu 100% sagen ob dieser Track wirklich von Daft Punk kommt oder einfach nur wieder ein Fake ist. Egal, sollte er ein Fake sein, finde ich ihn Scheisse. Wenn nicht: Anhören.
